Vertimec® contains abamectin, an active ingredient derived from a natural floor microorganism. This active ingredient is obtained fermentatively from an actinomyzet (“radiation fungus”). Abamectin is an acaricide/insecticide that works through contact and recording (when sucking). It also has a depth effect, which means that the active ingredient penetrates the sheet after treatment and remains effective for a long time against eating and absorbing pests. Vertimec is liquid, odorless and does not leave any spray stains.
Abamectin is characterized by a high level of efficiency with low amount of effort. A high level of impact is achieved primarily against thripse, spider mites and minier fly larvae. Less effect is generally achieved against aphids, as they suck on the phloem (control tissue). Abamectin inhibits the impulse transmission between the nerve and muscle cells. Become pests
paralyzed quickly, hire suction and frosting and die after 3–4 days. Due to the new principle of action, spider mites and insects are recorded, which have developed resistance to other acaricides and insecticides.
Vertimec® acts against all sucking stages of the spider mites and thripes, and prevents or interrupts the larvae of minier flying. In addition, a significant reduction in fertility or ability to lay egg in females that come into contact with the active ingredient was observed.
Properties irritate the eyes. Be sure to observe precautionary measures on the package. Toxic for bees, bumblebees and fish. Toxic for predatory bugs and predatory mites. Vertimec no longer works toxic on bees and bumblebees 24 hours after being spent.
